The Welsh Assembly has recently launched its community cohesion strategy for Wales on preventing all forms of violent extremism, ‘Getting on Together’. The assembly will also be holding ‘awareness sessions’ focused on tackling threats to cohesion in the Higher and Further Education sectors.

For Muslims living in Wales, further information on the sessions, organised to ‘discuss the UK wide CONTEST (Counter Terrorism) Strategy and more specifically the preventing violent extremism strand with a view to establishing an appropriate way forward with local partners in all colleges and universities across Wales’, is available here.
