Muslims in Cheadle, Greater Manchester, sold off a huge cake to raise over £500 for BBC Children in Need.

The cake, billed as the biggest in Manchester, was baked by Sanam Restaurant in collaboration with the Islamic Society of Britain (ISB) and Cheadle Muslim Association.

ISB begins Islam Awareness Week this week with activities and events around the country celebrating the Best of Britain.
