The UAF is not accurate in seeking to link the so-called EDL with the BNP or any other Nationalist Party in this country. The BNP has proscribed the EDL and threatened disciplinary action against any member of theirs who attends 'EDL' events. The EDL appears to be an assortment of football hooligans intent on winding-up the Islamic community. Their low numbers alone should indicate that they are not backed by Nationalist structures in this country. Many wonder why the Police and State are allowing them to travel from city to city causing mayhem. Who benefits? There should be dialogue between Nationalists in this country and Muslims in my view.

Everyone has a right to protest and to freedom of speach that is the reason we defend our democracy however by the ways of peaceful means people will then listen and voices be heard there is no place for islamic extremists in this country or in the islamic faith if you disagree you should leave this country now and close the door behind you.

I am fed up with the P C and all of the Do Gooders who think they have a right to speak up for the British People! Did the people of 7/7 have a right to live before they were blown up by Islamic cowards???? We need more demonstrations against the Far Right Muslims of this Country! England has to stand firm and we need to bite back by showing the Extremist Muslims that we will fight back if we have another 7/7! I don't agree with the Mosques which are sprouting up like mushrooms all over pour Cities! This is a Christian State, its like Muslims are trying to take over this land and the way they are doing this is frightening and intimidating to Christians too! I wish we had a Government with the balls to do something about the Islamification of this fine country and its fine people too!

Jon- I think ur just ignorant and afraid- whici is fine, but should you actually read the books of Islam you see how it is a fine religion of peace and unity! I am british born and a Muslim and I do not believe an extremist can really call himself a muslim. What u need to really think about is why is the western world so obsessed with attacking eastern countries, how would you like it? No I don't think you would! This country is fine the way it is, I think people need to stop complaining and appreciate the UK as a multi-cultural nation ameen!

Rather than opposing the EDL in their campaign against extremeist Islam why don't you join them and support them?
I can't see any reason why a "moderate peaceful muslim" would not want to stand against those who calim to be muslim while they kill and maim and preach hatred. No reason whatsoever - unless you support their viewpoint of course ....

Much is justifiably written about the atrocities perpetrated by muslim extremists; but we should all be concerned and resistive to the more insidious invasion of our land and culture.
As many of us recognise, left wingers pander to muslims 'so not to offend them' and in so doing are gradually but surely eroding the rights and liberties of the indigenous population. Vast numbers of muslims are flooding our country with the sole purpose of turning it into an islamic state; while enjoying privileges and freedom denied to many in their homelands; the virtues of which they frequently expound. In this they are being successful under our very noses, aided by those who are unwilling or unable to recognise the danger; and so are laughing all the way to yet another newly-built mosque! Thus I urge all Anglo-Saxons to boycott muslim businesses and services, and resist those left-wingers who betray us .

I think we need to look at our history. What made our country great? Christian values. Why try to change our nations beliefs. Islam does not tolerate other religions and never will. Dont be fooled. Islam has tried to replace Christianity since Mohamed. The last testament is the New Testament not the quran why change things?

I am amazed that so many of you have such strong opinions about Islam without any knowledge of it! There are such huge fundamental errors in your understanding that it is hard to know where to begin - but just look at the history of Islam and how when Islam spread across the Middle East right up into Southern Spain how the Muslims allowed other faiths to live peacefully side by side -
In Spain under the Umayyads and in Baghdad under the Abbasid Khalifas, Christians and Jews, equally with Muslims, were admitted to the Schools and universities - not only that, but were boarded and lodged in hostels at the cost of the state. When the Moors were driven out of Spain, the Christian conquerors held a terrific persecution of the Jews. Those who were fortunate enough to escape fled, some of them to Morocco and many hundreds to the Turkish empire, where their descendants still live in separate communities, and still speak among themselves an antiquated form of Spanish. The Muslim empire was a refuge for all those who fled from persecution by the Inquisition. I doubt you want facts as it doesn't serve your hatred - but what a shame your ignorance is so profound.
If you analaysed the History of the last 200 years and worked out how many innocent men women and children had died at the hands of Christians through wars, occupations, British Imperialism then you might stop and think - but then maybe not!

A few simple questions for any UAF supporters or anyone who sides with the UAF beliefs.
1) do you not feel that trying to oppose someone elses opinion is acting in a fascist manor? Just because someone does not share your opinon does this give you the right to oppress them?
2) Islam4Uk are holding a demonstration in london on 31 october. Their opinions and views are that the whole of great britain should abide sharia law. This in my opinion is again acting in a fascist manor as it totally opposes democracy. I can draw comparisons a little with what you're doing by trying to oppress the edl. Will your organisation be turning out to demonstrate against islam4uk at all?
It seems to me after watching various intervews and videos with the UAF that the majority come from a middle class background whom are currently students or were students. I am from a very working class background and i know of not one person who sides with your beliefs. All i ask is to have a think what exaclty you are fighting for, and who exactly is pulling the strings.

How can Islam4uk protesters and UAF protesters claim to be anti facist and call the EDL facist when they openly celebrate accept the spread of a religion that preaches hatred of Jews, gays, women, Brits, whites, blacks and all non Muslims? If calling for the mutilation of Jews, stoning of gays, opression and rape of women, and nuking of Iran isn't facist, then ask yourself. What is? UAF supporters unknowingly support the spread and acceptance of the largest facist movement the world has ever seen, wake up!!
