Muslims4UK to speak up for pluralism and freedom

 Inayat Bunglawala, in his latest Comment is Free posting has proposed holding a counter-demonstration against the provocative antics of Al-Muhajiroun and Islam4UK’s proposed march on Saturday October 31st, which featured on the Daily Express front page last week, at the end of this month.

He says:

'If you are proud of living in a multi-faith, multicultural democracy where people are free to practise their faith or not to if they so choose, and if you have been appalled at the irresponsible antics of al-Muhajiroun and the Daily Express over the years and the harm they have caused to social cohesion in the UK then please do come along.'

Muslims are tired of havingt to state the obvious - that Al Muhajiroun don't speak for them or come close to representing their views. Muslims in Luton did this some months ago when they chased the AM nuts out of the town centre.

And what exactly do you hope will happen - that the Express and Star will sit up and take note? When Gallup Coexist Foundation published data showing Muslims to be more loyal to the nation what did Desmond's paper print? 66% think Muslims aren't loyal?!

No regard for the facts. Only pandering to prejudice. Can't wait to see what angle they cover on a demo and counter demo by Muslims.
